Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

View Where-Used Bills of Material

Use this screen to view an inverted bill of material (BOM) for a selected component part number.

You can view only one component part/revision at a time. You can select the number of assembly levels to display and which configurations to include.

If the Use Engineering Bills of Material check box is selected in the BOM Corporate Settings block of the Configure Bills of Material Settings screen, you can use this inquiry to search for engineering bills of material (EBOM) components and assembly information. If the check box is not selected, EBOM information is not accessible.

After you select a component part and its specifications, click on the toolbar to load the assembly information on the table window.
