Subst Parts Subtask

Use the Subst Parts subtask to view the current inventory information for any substitute parts for the selected part and project.

Costpoint checks to see if substitutes are allowed for that part/project. If substitutes are allowed it checks to see if project specific substitutes have been defined for that part. If substitutes are not allowed, no substitute parts display.

Field	Description
Purchase Order ID, Release, PO Total Amount, PO Line, Description, Quantity, Total Line Amt	These fields display values from the main screen.
Sequence	This column displays the sequence of the substitute parts.
Substitute Type	This column displays PART, if it is a part substitute or PROJECT, if it is a project substitute part.
Substitute Part	This column displays the substitute part ID.
Rev	This column displays the revision for the substitute part of the selected part or project.
Description	This column displays the description of the substitute.
U/M	This column displays the unit or measure of the substitute.
Status	This column displays the status of the substitute.
Inv Abbrev	This column displays the inventory abbreviation of the substitute.
Project	This column displays the project where the substitute belongs to.
Net Available Quantity	This column displays the net available quantity of the substitute part.
Current Available Quantity	This column displays the current available quantity of the substitute part.
