Serial/Lot Subtask

Use this subtask to enter and assign new pre-assigned serial and lot information for the selected purchase order (PO) line.

Identification

Use the fields in this group box to view information on the purchase order (PO) lines of the selected purchase order.

Field	Description
PO	This field displays the purchase order ID.
Rlse	This field displays the release number of the purchase order.
Status	This field displays the status of the purchase order.
Type	This field displays the type of order which can be one of the following: Purchase Order Blanket Order Release Order Subcontract PO
Trans Currency	This field displays the transaction currency for this purchase order. The invoice for these materials will be in this transaction currency.
Line	This field displays the line number on the order.
Item	This field displays the item ID.
Rev	This field displays the revision ID of the item.
Status	This field displays the status of the line.
Description	This field displays the description of the item.

Table Window

Field	Description
Serial	Enter the serial number for this line item.
Lot	Enter the lot number for this line item.
Quantity	Enter the quantity for this line item.
Notes	Enter any notes applicable to this serial/lot number.
UID	Enter the composite Unique Identification (UID) code for this serial/lot row.
Type	Enter, or click to select, the construct type for UID generation.
Enterprise Identifier	Enter the enterprise identifier code for UID generation.
Issuing Agency	Enter the issuing agency code responsible for assigning the enterprise identifier for UID generation.
Lot Number	Enter, or click to select, the internal lot number for the added part.
Serial/Lot User-Defined Label 1-15	These columns display if you defined field labels on the Manage Serial/Lot User-Defined Labels screen.
Shelf Life Type	This field indicates whether shelf life functionality applies, and if it does whether the expiration date can be extended.
Shelf Life Expiration Date	Enter, or click to select, the date when the serial/lot part expires.
Orig Shelf Life Expiration Date	This field displays the original shelf life expiration date for the serial/lot part.
Last Extension Date	This field displays the date when the Shelf Life Expiration Date was last modified.
Number of Extensions Taken	This field displays the number of times that the Shelf Life Expiration Date has been modified.
Available for Use	This check box indicates whether or not the serial/lot part can be used for planning purposes.
