Line Text Subtask

Use this subtask to view standard text notes attached to the selected component for the bill of material (BOM) of the selected assembly.

You can establish standard text code information in the Manage Standard Text screen in Costpoint Product Definition, and assign it to the component part in the Manage Parts screen (for standard parts) or Manage Provisional Parts screen (for provisional parts) in Costpoint Product Definition. You can also assign standard text lines to the component part for the BOM assembly in the applicable manufacturing bill of material (MBOM) or engineering bill of material (EBOM) screens.

Field	Description
Line No	This field displays the BOM line number of the selected component line.
Component Part	This field displays the component part for the selected component line.
Comp Rev	This field displays the component part revision.
Component Description	This field displays the component part description.

Table Window

This table window lists all line text codes associated with component part.

Field	Description
Sequence	This field displays the sequence number for the text code to determine printing order.
Text Code	This field displays the text code to attach to the component for BOM printing.
Rev	This field displays the value of the revision associated with the text code.
Description	This field displays the description of the text code.
Text Active	If selected, this check box indicates that the standard text code/revision combination is currently active.
Doc Print Opt	This field displays the document print option, which shows the types of documents in which the text will print. The various options are: Internal External Both
Text	This field displays the text notes for the text code.
