Projects Subtask

Use this subtask to view inventory project and inventory abbreviation information for selected projects, based on the project selection criteria listed on the main screen header.

Field	Description
Part	This field displays the ID for the part on the selected action message on the main screen.
Rev	This field displays the part revision number.
Description	This field displays the part description.
U/M	This field displays the part's default or inventory unit of measure.

Selection Criteria

Field	Description
Option	This field displays the setting for the Project Option from the main screen and determines the rows shown in the table window.
Include Common Inventory/Projects	This field always displays N (No) when accessed from the main screen.
Project	This field displays the ID of the selected project entered on the main screen and determines the rows shown in the table window. The project name and abbreviation display in the adjacent unlabeled fields.
Proj Abbrev	This field displays the project abbreviation.
Netting Group	This field displays the ID of the netting group entered on the main screen and determines the rows shown in the table window. The name of the netting group displays in the adjacent unlabeled field.

Inventory Abbreviations

This table window displays inventory abbreviation information for the projects that meet the selection criteria.

Field	Description
Inv Abbrev	This field displays the inventory abbreviation code.
Inventory Abbreviation Name	This field displays the name of the inventory abbreviation.
Account Type	This field displays the type of account as set up on the Inventory Abbreviations subtask of the Manage Inventory Projects screen in the Inventory module. Values are: E: Expense A: Asset G: Government Furnished
Project	This field displays the ID of the project linked to the inventory abbreviation.
Project Name	This field displays the project's name.
Project Abbrev	This field displays the abbreviation for the project.
MRP Option	This field displays the MRP planning code for the project, from the Manage Inventory Projects screen in the Inventory module. This code determines how MRP and MPS plan supply and demand for this inventory project and how the project is grouped with other projects.
Netting Group	This field displays the identifier of the netting group for the project, from the Manage Inventory Projects screen in the Inventory module or the Manage Netting Groups screen in Production Control. You see a value in this field only if the project's MRP Option is Netting Group-CS or Netting Group-No CS.
Netting Group Name	This field displays the netting group's name. You see a value in this field only if the project's MRP Option is Netting Group-CS or Netting Group-No CS.
Planning Warehouse	This field displays the planning warehouse identifier, from the Manage Inventory Projects screen in the Inventory module.
Planner	This field displays the identifier of the planner assigned to the project, as specified on the Manage Inventory Projects screen in the Inventory module.
Common Inventory (y/n)	This field displays Y (Yes) or N (No) depending on whether or not the project is flagged as a common inventory project, as specified on the Manage Inventory Projects screen in the Inventory module. This flag is not used for MRP/MPS processing purposes, but can be used by the Compute Material Requirements process in Production Control to look for available inventory in other projects.
