Requisition Subtask

Use the Requisition subtask to view details of requisitions made for the selected row in the main table window.

Use it whenever you want to obtain details about the requisition referenced in the action message line selected on the main screen.

Field Description
Part

This field displays the part ID shown on the main screen.

Rev

This field displays the revision of this part.

Description

This field displays the description for this part.

U/M

The unit of measure assigned to this part.

Message

This field displays the action message suggested for the requisition. The action messages are:

  • Cancel Order
  • Reschedule Order
  • Decrease Qty
Requisition

This field displays the requisition ID associated with this action message.

Req Line

This field displays the requisition line associated with this action message.

Sched Line

This field displays the schedule line of this purchase order.

Status

This field displays the status of the requisition line. The statuses are:

  • Pending
  • In Approval
  • Approved
Buyer

This field displays the buyer assigned to the requisition line.

Planner

This field displays the planner assigned to the requisition line.

Inv Abbrev

This field displays the inventory abbreviation associated with the requisition line for the selected part. The name of the inventory abbreviation displays in the adjacent unlabeled field.

Warehouse

This field displays the warehouse ID associated with the requisition line.

Project

This field displays the ID of the project associated with the inventory abbreviation of the requisition. The name of the project displays in the adjacent unlabeled fields.

Prj Abbrev

This field displays the abbreviation of the project ID.

Quantities

This group box displays quantity information for the requisition line.

Field Description
Requisition

Use this field to enter, or use to select, the total quantity for the requisition.

Suggested Open

This field displays the requisition quantity for which purchase orders have not yet been as recommended by Costpoint.

Assigned

This field displays the quantity assigned for this requisition.

Open Yield

This field displays the quantity yet to be completed against the requisition line for the given inventory abbreviation allocation. It includes scrap/yield losses. This field is displayed only if you selected the Incl Scrap/Yield % in Planning Process check box in the Configure Production Control Settings screen in Costpoint Production Control.

Open

This field displays the requisition quantity for which purchase orders have not yet been generated or assigned.

Dates

This group box displays the dates associated with the requisition line.

Field Description
Requested

Use this field to enter, or use to select, the date on which the part is due.

Suggested Due

This field displays the due date suggested by the MRP system. Costpoint calculates this value by subtracting the manufacturing stocking lead time from the need date.

Target Place

Use this field to enter, or use to select, the targeted date for creating a purchase order for the requisition line.

Suggested Target Place

This field displays the targeted date for creating a purchase order for the requisition line as recommended by Costpoint.

Planned Available

This field displays the date on which the part should be available after allowing for purchase, receiving, and inspection lead times.

Assign PO Information

This table window displays assign PO information for the associated with the requisition line.

Field Description
PO

This field displays the purchase order ID associated with this part.

Release

This field displays the release number of the purchase order. It is 0 for standard POs. Blanket releases can have various release numbers.

Quantity

This field displays the total quantity requisitioned for the this PO.

Suggested Open Quantity

This field displays the MRP-suggested open quantity.

Yield Quantity

This field displays the Open Qty with yield/scrap percentages factored in. This field is displayed if you selected the Incl Scrap/Yield % in Planning Process check box in the Configure Production Control Settings screen in Costpoint Production Control.

Vendor

This field displays the vendor ID to whom this PO has been issued. The vendor name displays in the adjacent unlabeled field.

Vendor Name

This field displays the vendor name of the Vendor ID.

Vendor Address

This field displays the address code associated with the Vendor ID.

Due Date

This field displays the date on which the PO line is due to be delivered. You can maintain this field only if you selected the Allow PO Maintenance check box in the Configure Material Requirements Planning Settings screen.

Desired Date

This field displays the date on which the part on the PO line is desired by the requester. You can maintain this field only if you selected the Allow PO Maintenance check box in the Configure Material Requirements Planning Settings screen.

Planned Available Date

This field displays the date on which the part should be available after allowing for purchasing, receiving, and inspection lead times.

PO Created

This field displays Y (Yes) if purchase orders have been created. Otherwise, this field displays N (No).
