Contents of the Manage Vaccine Types Screen
Use the fields and options to configure the Manage Vaccine Types screen.

Field | Description |

Vaccine Type |
Enter a unique code that identifies the vaccine type. |
Vaccine Description |
Enter a description for the vaccine type code. |
Expiration Months |
Enter the number of months after which a vaccine will expire. For example, if a flu shot is normally good for 1 year, enter 12. If a vaccine does not expire, enter 0. |
Require Approval |
Select this check box if the vaccine requires approval from a company administrator. If you select the Require Approval check box, Costpoint sets the value in the Approval Status field on both the Manage Employee Vaccinations screen and the Employee Vaccinations screen to Pending. If the Require Approval check box is clear, the Approval Status field on the Manage Employee Vaccinations screen and the Employee Vaccinations screen will have a Not Applicable value and disabled. |
Active Flag |
Select this check box to set the vaccine type to an active status. If you select this check box, the vaccine type will display in vaccine type lookups in applicable Costpoint screens. If you clear this check box, users will not be able to add this vaccine type to a user record. Inactivating a vaccine type will not delete existing data for employees. |
