Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Manage Configuration Identifiers

Use this screen to enter Bills of Material (BOM) Configuration IDs and their descriptions.

You can use these IDs in the Manage Manufacturing Bills of Material screen to record different BOM configurations for the same assembly part/revision combinations. You can generate configurations on the screens in the Manufacturing Bills of Material menu, and you can use this screen to preset, modify, or review these configurations.

You can also use this screen to view existing configurations and their descriptions. You can modify or delete existing lines or click on the toolbar to add more configurations. You can also use to restrict the number of configurations displayed.

Set up this screen after establishing the controls and defaults in the Configure Bills of Material Settings screen and before you create BOMs; you can use to import established configurations. You can add, delete, or modify configuration identifiers from this screen whenever necessary.
