Header Documents Subtask
Use this subtask to assign documents to the request for quote (RFQ) header.
These documents may already be established within Costpoint, or added by RFQ.

Reference Doc |
Select this checkbox to assign a document that is not established on the Manage Documents or Release Documents screen in Costpoint Bills of Material. Clear this checkbox to assign a document that is established on the Manage Documents or Release documents screen. |
Document |
If you selected the Reference Doc checkbox, use this field to enter, or use to select, the document ID you want to assign to the requisition header. If you cleared the Reference Doc checkbox, this field is disabled. |
Rev |
Use this field to enter, or use to select, the revision of this document you want to use for the requisition header. A revision is not required if the Allow Multiple Revisions for Each Item option is cleared on the Corporate Settings block of the Configure System Settings screen. If you cleared the Reference Doc checkbox, this field is disabled. |
Type |
Use this field to enter, or use to select, the classification for this document. If you cleared the Reference Doc checkbox, this field is disabled. |
Name |
If you selected the Reference Doc checkbox, use this field to enter the name of the document to assign to the requisition header. If you cleared the Reference Doc checkbox, this field displays the name of the document established on the Manage Document or Release documents screen. |
Location |
If you selected the
Reference Doc checkbox, use this field to enter the location where this document is stored on the network. You can also click the Browse button to access this document from within Costpoint. The entire path must be entered, including the full server name, volume name, and file name.
Note: Deltek recommends that you do not use drive letters unless all potential Costpoint users have the same file location mapped to the same drive letter.
If you cleared the Reference Doc checkbox, the location automatically displays in this field. |
Status |
If you cleared the Reference Doc checkbox, this field displays if this document is Unreleased, Released, or Obsolete. |
Size |
If you cleared the Reference Doc checkbox, this field displays this document's size. |
Media |
If you cleared the Reference Doc checkbox, this field displays this document's media code. |
CAGE |
If you cleared the Reference Doc checkbox, this field displays this document's CAGE (Contractor and Government Entity) code. |
Sheets |
If you cleared the Reference Doc checkbox, this field displays this document's number of sheets. |
Organization |
If you cleared the Reference Doc checkbox, this field displays the organization to which this document is assigned. |
Maintenance Group |
If you cleared the Reference Doc checkbox, this field displays the maintenance group assigned to this document. |
ECN Pending |
If you cleared the Reference Doc checkbox, this field displays Y (Yes) if this document is associated with a pending ECN (Engineering Change Notice). Otherwise, this field displays N(No). |
Last ECN |
If you cleared the Reference Doc checkbox, this field displays the last ECN associated with this document. You can access ECN information in Costpoint Engineering Change Notices. |
Autoload Req Doc |
Click this button to automatically load the documents associated with the RFQ line. |
