Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Copy Proposal Bills of Material

Use the Copy Proposal Bills of Material screen to create or overwrite proposal bills of material (PBOMs).

You can copy PBOMs from specified engineering BOMs (EBOMs), manufacturing BOMs (MBOMs), and other PBOMs.

This process supports multi-level BOM copies. For example, select the Proposal (All PBOMs) option as BOM Source to copy all PBOMs for a specified proposal to another proposal for proposal lines with the same end items. If the To PBOM already exists, you can overwrite the existing PBOM with the BOM in the From assembly.

Below is an outline of what is required when copying the BOM source:

When the copy process is complete and the To Assembly is updated, you must run the Compute Proposal Item Costs application for the proposal to calculate and roll up costs.
