Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Projects Subtask

Use this subtask to view projects and inventory abbreviations based on project selection criteria.

Use it whenever you need to view project/inventory abbreviations.

Field Description
Part

This field displays the part ID shown on the main screen.

Rev

This field displays the revision of the part ID.

Description

This field displays the description for the part ID.

U/M

This field displays the unit of measure assigned to the part ID.

Selection Criteria

This group box displays information about the selected project on the main screen.

Field Description
Option

This field displays the currently selected option in the Option drop-down list on the main screen.

Include Common Projects

This field displays Y (Yes) or N (No) depending on whether the Include Common Inventory check box is selected in the main screen. If this field displays Y projects that are designated as common are included in the table window, even though they may not otherwise meet the project selection criteria. If this field displays N, projects that are designated as common are not included in the table window unless they meet the project selection criteria.

Project

This field displays the currently selected project ID from the main screen. The description for this project displays on in the adjacent unlabeled field.

Prj Abbrev

This field displays the abbreviation for the project ID.

Netting Group

This field displays the ID of the netting group from the main screen. The name of the netting group is displayed in the adjacent unlabeled field.

Inventory Abbreviations

This table window displays inventory abbreviation information for the projects that meet the selection criteria.

Field Description
Inv Abbrev

This field displays the inventory abbreviation code.

Inventory Abbreviation Name

This field displays the name of the inventory abbreviation.

Account Type

This field displays the type of account, either E (Expense), A (Asset), or G (Government Furnished), in accordance with the setup on the Manage Inventory Projects screen in Costpoint Inventory.

Project

This field displays the ID of the project.

Project Name

This field displays the name of the project.

Project Abbrev

This field displays the abbreviation of the project.

MRP Option

This field displays the MRP planning code for the project from the Project Planning Option drop-down list in the Manage Inventory Projects screen in Costpoint Inventory.

Netting Group

This field displays the ID of the Netting Group for the project from the Manage Inventory Projects screen in Costpoint Inventory.

Netting Group Name

This field displays the name of the netting group.

Planning Warehouse

This field displays the Planning Warehouse ID for the project from the Manage Inventory Projects screen in Costpoint Inventory.

Planner

This field displays the Planner ID for the project from the Manage Inventory Projects screen in Costpoint Inventory.

Common Inventory

This field displays Y (Yes) if the project is a common inventory project, as specified in the Manage Inventory Projects screen in Costpoint Inventory. Otherwise, this field displays N (No).
