Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

View Serial/Lot Information

Use this screen to view serial/lot tracking information, including inventory transaction history, for any part that has had serial or lot numbers issued in an inventory transaction.

You can search by part, vendor, manufacturer, serial number, lot number, unique item identifier (UID), or shelf life cutoff date.

Internal serial and lot numbers are assigned only to parts that are flagged as requiring sales order configuration tracking on the Manage Parts screen. Assign serial/lot numbers during the serial lot transaction or automatically according to the settings on the Configure Serial/Lot Settings screen.

Enter your search criteria and click to begin the search. Costpoint populates the table window with the matching serial-tracked or lot-tracked parts and enables the subtasks.
