Inventory Details Subtask

Use the Inventory Details subtask to view current inventory information for the selected part.

The display includes only the selected projects, unless you selected the View All Inventory option. Use this subtask whenever current inventory information is required.

Field	Description
Part	This field displays the part ID shown in the main screen.
Rev	This field displays the revision of this part.
Description	This field displays the description for this part.
U/M	The unit of measure assigned to this part.

Selection Criteria

This group box displays the information on the project criteria as specified on the main screen.

Field	Description
Option	This field displays the Project Option from the main screen.
Project	This field displays the ID of the selected project from the main screen. The project name is displayed in the adjacent unlabeled field.
Prj Abbrev	This field displays the abbreviation for the project ID.
Netting Group	This field displays the ID of the netting group from the main screen. The name of the netting group is displayed in the adjacent unlabeled field.
View All Projects	Select this check box to view the part's inventory across all projects.
Requery Inventory	Click this button to load the current inventory information by warehouse for the selected part.

Quantity

This group box displays quantity information about the part.

Field	Description
Net Available	This field displays the sum of all the net available quantities in the table window.
Current Available	This field displays the sum of all the current available quantities in the table window.
On Hand	This field displays the sum of all the on-hand quantities in the table window.

Inventory Quantities

This table window displays the inventory details for the part according to the viewing criteria selected. Sorting is by project ID and inventory abbreviation code.

Field	Description
Inv Abbrev	This field displays the inventory abbreviation code.
Inventory Abbreviation Name	This field displays the name of the inventory abbreviation.
Account Type	This field displays the type of account, either E (Expense), A (Asset), or G (Government Furnished) as set up in the Inventory Abbreviations subtask of the Manage Inventory Projects screen in Costpoint Inventory.
Project	This field displays the ID of the project associated with the inventory abbreviation.
Project Name	This field displays the name of the project associated with the inventory abbreviation.
Proj Abbrev	This field displays the abbreviation of the project associated with the inventory abbreviation.
Net Available Quantity	This field displays the net available quantity for the part/inventory abbreviation combination. It is the sum of all the on hand, in inspection, in shipping, in MRB, on order, on req, owed, and planned owed quantities minus the sum of reserved and planned reserved quantities, for the part/inventory abbreviation combination. (In MRB is included only if you selected the Incl MRB as Available Inventory check box in the Configure Production Control Settings screen in Costpoint Production Control.)
Current Available Quantity	This field displays the current available quantity of the part/inventory abbreviation combination. It is the sum of on-hand and in inspection quantities minus the reserved quantity for that part/inventory abbreviation combination.
On Hand Quantity	This field displays the sum of all the quantities of the part/inventory abbreviation combination that are in on-hand locations.
In Inspection Quantity	This field displays the sum of all quantities of the part/inventory abbreviation combination that are in inspection and reinspection locations.
In Shipping Quantity	This field displays the sum of all the quantities of the part/inventory abbreviation combination that are in shipping locations.
In MRB Quantity	This field displays the sum of all the quantities of the part/inventory abbreviation combination that are in MRB locations.
On Hold Quantity	This field displays the sum of all the quantities of the part/inventory abbreviation combination that are in on hold locations.
On Order Quantity	This field displays the sum of all quantities of the part/inventory abbreviation combination that have been ordered.
On Requisition Quantity	This field displays the sum of all quantities of the part/inventory abbreviation combination that have been requisitioned.
Reserved Quantity	This field displays the sum of all quantities reserved against the part/inventory abbreviation combination via reservations.
Planned Reserved Quantity	This field displays the sum of all quantities that are planned to be reserved against the part/inventory abbreviation combination via requests.
Owed Quantity	This field displays the sum of all quantities that are owed to the part/inventory abbreviation combination via reservations.
Planned Owed Quantity	This field displays the sum of all quantities that you plan to owe to the part/inventory abbreviation combination via requests.
Expedite Notes	This field contains editable notes applicable to the part/inventory abbreviation combination.
Inventory Abbreviation Active	This field displays Y (Yes) if the Inv Abbrev code is active. Otherwise, this field displays N (No).
