Requisition Subtask

Use this subtask to view and modify requisitions/line information referenced by the selected MPS action message.

Note: When you click the Requistion link  on the main screen, one of a number of different subtasks displays depending on the Message and Supply Type settings of the selected line on the main screen.

You cannot modify requisitions that are in the approval process, closed, or completed.

Field	Description
Part	This field displays the ID for the part on the selected action message on the main screen.
Rev	This field displays the part revision number.
Description	This field displays the part description.
U/M	This field displays the part's default or inventory unit of measure.
Message	This field displays the description of the message type from the selected MPS action messages on the main screen grid.
Requisition	This field displays the ID of the requisition referenced by the selected action message.
Line	This field displays the selected requisition line number.

Status	This field displays the status of the requisition.
Buyer	This field displays the buyer assigned to the requisition line.
Planner	This field displays the planner assigned to the selected part as shown on the requisition.
Inv Abbrev	This field displays the inventory abbreviation entered on the selected requisition line. The name of the inventory abbreviation displays in the adjacent unlabeled field.
Warehouse	This field displays the ID of warehouse assigned to the requisition line.
Project	This field displays the ID of the inventory project associated with the requisition line inventory abbreviation. The project name displays in the field to the right.
Proj Abbrev	This field displays the project abbreviation.

Quantities

Field	Description
Requisition	This field displays the quantity requisitioned. Quantities display in the inventory unit of measure. You cannot modify this field if the requisition line is not assigned to a PO.
Suggested Open	This field displays the open quantity suggested by MPS. This field does not display if you did not assign requisition line quantities to purchase orders. Quantities display in the inventory unit of measure.
Assigned	This field displays the quantity on the requisition line that is assigned to purchase orders. Quantities display in the inventory unit of measure.
Open Yield	This field displays the open quantity with yield/scrap percentages factored in. This field displays only if you selected the Incl Scrap/Yield % in Planning Process check box on the Configure Production Control Settings screen. Quantities display in the inventory unit of measure.
Open	This field displays the requisition quantity for which purchase orders have not been generated or assigned. Quantities display in the inventory unit of measure.

Dates

Field	Description
Requested	Enter, or click to select, the date on which the part is due, as specified in the requisition. You can modify this field only if you have not assigned the requisition line to a PO.
Suggested Due	This field displays the requisition line's due date suggested by MPS.
Target Place	Enter, or click to select, the targeted date for creating a purchase order for the requisition. You can modify this field only if you have not assigned the requisition line to a PO.
Suggested Target Place	This field displays the MPS-suggested target date for creating a purchase order for the requisition.
Planned Available	This field displays the date on which the part must be available after allowing for receiving and inspection lead times. This field does not display if you have assigned requisition line quantities to purchase orders.

Assign PO Information

The fields in this table display only if the requisition line has been assigned purchase order information.

Field	Description
PO	This field displays the ID of the purchase order assigned to the requisition line.
Release	This field displays the release number of the purchase order assigned to the requisition line.
Quantity	This field displays the requisition quantity that is assigned to the purchase order. Quantities display in the inventory unit of measure.
Suggested Open Quantity	This field displays the open PO line quantity suggested by MPS. Quantities display in the inventory unit of measure.
Yield Quantity	This field displays the open quantity with yield/scrap percentages factored in. This field displays only if you selected the Incl Scrap/Yield % in Planning Process check box on the Configure Production Control Settings screen. Quantities display in the inventory unit of measure.
Vendor	This field displays the vendor ID assigned to the PO generated from the requisition line.
Vendor Name	This field displays the name of the vendor assigned to the PO generated from the requisition line.
Vendor Address	This field displays the vendor's order address code assigned to the PO generated from the requisition line.
Due Date	This field displays the date on which the assigned PO is due to be delivered.
Desired Date	This field displays the preferred delivery date.
Planned Available Date	This field displays the date on which the part in the assigned PO becomes available for use, after allowing for receiving and inspection lead times.
PO Created	This field displays Y (Yes) or N (No) depending on whether or not the purchase order has been created.
