  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Assembly Information Subtask

Use this subtask to view information about the selected assembly part.

The information displayed in this subtask is established and maintained in the Manage Manufacturing Bills of Material, Release Manufacturing Bills of Material, Manage Engineering Bills of Material, or Release Engineering Bills of Material screens.

Field Description
Line No

This field displays the BOM line number of the selected component line.

Component Part

This field displays the component part for the selected component line.

Comp Rev

This field displays the component part revision.

Component Description

This field displays the component part description.

Assembly

This group box displays basic information about the assembly, including BOM status and part status.

Field Description
Part

This field displays the assembly or parent part of the BOM. A description of the part displays in the unlabeled field below this field.

Rev

This field displays the revision of the assembly or parent part of the BOM.

Inv U/M

This field displays the inventory unit of measure for the assembly.

CAGE

This field displays the Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code for the assembly part.

Active

This field displays Y (Yes) if the assembly part is active. Otherwise, this field displays N (No).

Make/Buy

This field displays Make if the assembly part is manufactured or Buy if it is purchased.

Yield

This field displays the estimated yield (%) of a manufacturing order for this parent for planning purposes.

Part Type

This field displays the assembly part type code. The various types are:

  • Buy with Components
  • Standard
  • Phantom
  • Reference
  • Tool
Part Status

This field displays the release status of the assembly part. This field displays Provisional for provisional parts.

BOM Status

This field displays the release status of the BOM for the assembly part.

Assembly Entry

This group box displays information about the assembly entry.

Field Description
User

This field displays the user ID of the individual who first entered the assembly.

Date

This field displays the date the assembly was first entered.

Assembly Release

This group box displays information about the assembly release.

Field Description
User

This field displays the user ID of the individual who released the assembly.

Date

This field displays the date the assembly was released.

Notes

This field displays additional information about the assembly.
