Field	Description
Year To Date Rates	This option is the default setting for rate application to projects. During the rate application process for this method, Costpoint multiplies the YTD indirect rate by the sum of all year-to-date costs to derive YTD burden. The YTD burden equals the current YTD indirect rate multiplied by the sum of all YTD costs. Current period burden is the difference between the YTD burden for the prior period and the YTD burden for the current period. Current period burden is NOT the current period rate multiplied by the current period costs.
Current Period Rates	Select this option to enable an alternate method of rate application to projects. The current period burden equals the current period indirect rate multiplied by current period costs. The YTD burden equals the sum of all prior periods' current period burden.
Top Level Length of the Project	This non-editable field displays the top level, system-wide length of the project.
