Charge Numbers Subtask

Use this subtask to add or view requisition line charge number detail.

The information in this subtask may or may not be editable contingent upon the parameters/permissions associated with the requisition type coupled with your authority to modify requisitions.

If the information you entered in the Charge Numbers Allocations Allowed field on the Manage Purchase Requisition Types screen is set to One Charge Per Reg for the requisition type you entered in this application, data can be modified on this screen. Charge number information must be defined on the main screen.

If the information you entered in the Charge Numbers Allocations Allowed field on the Manage Purchase Requisition Types screen is set to One Charge Per Reg Line for the requisition type you entered in this application, data can be modified on this screen but a line cannot be allocated to more than one charge line.

Data on this screen cannot be modified for inventory requisitions.

You can use this subtask to add or view requisition line charge number detail.

You do not need to access this screen if you want to apply the charge number information supplied in the requisition header to this requisition line.

Field Description
Project

Use this field to enter, or use to select, the project ID. Default data is retrieved from the header.

You can modify this data, if the Allow Project Changes check box is selected on the Manage Purchase Requisition Types screen for the requisition type you entered on this screen.

Project Name

This field displays the name of the project.

Proj Abbrev

Use this field to enter, or use to select, a project abbreviation to associate with the requisition charges.

You can modify this data, if the Allow Project Changes check box is selected on the Manage Purchase Requisition Types screen for the requisition type you entered on this screen.

Account

Use this field to enter, or use to select, the account ID. Default data is retrieved from the header.

You can modify this data, if the Allow Account Changes check box is selected on the Manage Purchase Requisition Types screen for the requisition type you entered on this screen.

Account Name

This field displays the name of the account.

Proj Acct Abbrev

Use this field to enter, or use to select, a project account abbreviation to associate with the requisition charges.

You can modify this data, if the Allow Account Changes check box is selected on the Manage Purchase Requisition Types screen for the requisition type you entered on this screen.

Organization

Use this field to enter, or use to select, the organization ID. Default data is retrieved from the header.

You can modify this data, if the Allow Org Changes check box is selected on the Manage Purchase Requisition Types screen for the requisition type you entered on this screen.

Organization Name

This field displays the name of the organization.

Org Abbrev

Use this field to enter, or use to select, an organization abbreviation to associate with the requisition charges.

You can modify this data, if the Allow Organization Changes check box is selected on the Manage Purchase Requisition Types screen for the requisition type you entered on this screen.

Allocation

Use this field to enter the allocation percentage you want to charge to the project/account/organization combination you selected.

Allocated Amount

Use this field to enter the allocation amount you want to charge to the project/account/organization combination you selected.

Ref1

Use this field to enter, or use to select, the reference data associated with the requisition charges. Reference information is established in the Accounting domain and can be used for reporting purposes. Default data is retrieved from the header.

You can modify this data, if the Allow Reference Number Changes check box is selected on the Manage Purchase Requisition Types screen for the requisition type you entered on this screen.

Note:

The field Ref 1 may display a different label if it has been changed on the Configure General Ledger Settings screen. For example, the label may have been changed to AC 1.

Ref2

Use this field to enter, or use to select, the reference data associated with the requisition charges. Reference information is established in the Accounting domain and can be used for reporting purposes. Default data is retrieved from the header.

You can modify this data, if the Allow Reference Number Changes check box is selected on the Manage Purchase Requisition Types screen for the requisition type you entered on this screen.
