Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

End Item/Assy Subtask

The End_Item/Assy subtask displays information for the end item and the assembly part of the component selected on the main screen table window.

This screen displays two levels of the end item's assembly information.

The values in  these fields come from the first (end item) line on the main screen table window.

Proposal Quantity Breakpoints

Field Description
1 to 5

The values in these fields come from the main screen table window for the end item. Each calculated value in the proposal quantity break field loads in the appropriate field in this group box.

Assembly

This group box displays assembly information for the component part at the next highest level (the end item, if subassemblies exist). For example, if you select a row on the main screen that has a Level of 3, this group box lists the information for the component part at level 2.

Part, Rev, U/M, Make/Buy

The values in these fields come from the main screen table window for the selected component part line.

Yield

This field displays the estimated yield (%) that is expected for this parent assembly for manufacturing planning purposes. Establish this amount in the Assembly Details group box of the Manage Proposal Bills of Material screen. This field can display any numeric value between 0.00% and 999.99%, and it affects the calculation in the Scrap/Yield Qty on the main screen.

Part Status

This field displays the release status of the assembly part, as shown on the main screen.

Prov Part Type

If the assembly is a provisional part, this field displays the provisional part type code assigned to this provisional part on the Manage Provisional Parts screen. If the assembly part is a standard part, this field is blank.

Notes

This text box displays alphanumeric text for this assembly part.
