Manage Cycle Count Schedules
Use this application to create and manage warehouse specific count schedules for ABC classified parts to be cycle counted one or more times over a specified date range.
For a given warehouse, there can be multiple schedules as long as the Schedule Start/End Dates do not overlap.
To create a Cycle Count Schedule, enter a Cycle Count Schedule ID and Description. Next, choose the warehouse, calendar type, and schedule start and end dates. The count interval (days) is required to determine how often a count will take place. The Count frequency should be entered to indicate how many times each classification should be counted within the specified schedule period. When all information is entered, use Autoload to create the schedule lines. At this time all header fields, except the ID and description, are disabled. For existing rows (including deleted rows), and the Autoload function cannot be used again.
For the cycle count schedule, if the ABC classification is not by warehouse, the application uses the ABC classification assigned at the part level; otherwise, it uses the ABC classification at the part/warehouse level.
You can delete schedule date rows if a count has not been generated from it, but at least one row must be left to save the schedule. If you need to replace all previously loaded rows, you need to delete the full schedule and create a new one.
When doing a query, the Query on the header retrieves existing schedules, while the line Query filters the displayed data.
Once the schedule is created, the Create Physical Counts screen should be used to generate the count for a specific count day. Then the count can be managed in Manage Physical Counts and printed in Print Physical Count Sheets, while Manage Actual Counts is where the count data is entered.
