Maintain Account Mapping

This step of the Post Installation Setup allows you to verify that your accounts are mapping correctly.

This step maintains system rules for the treatment of G/L accounts. Depending on the field, you can enter or select which cost type, account type, report type, budget sheet, and major key an account is assigned to.  

This grid displays all summary level accounts only and maps the accounts to the report types for reporting purposes. Most of the accounts will be set up correctly from your accounting system, but Deltek recommends that you review and verify some of the accounts.

The Installation process pulls in defaults for all Direct Accounts, but these direct accounts should be reviewed. The filter fields at the top of each column work in the same fashion as the filter fields on the Account Configuration page.

To verify your account mappings:

  1. On the Maintain Account Mapping (MAM1) form, filter the display of account mappings as needed.
  2. Select the Edit checkbox if you want to change an account mapping.
  3. Modify the data as needed.
  4. Click to save your changes.
    Note: If you make changes to this page and run the refresh process, the refresh process will only pull in new records from the accounting system.
