Use the fields and options to configure the Manage Provisional Part Types screen.

Field	Description
Type	Click to add a new line, then enter the type code. The application displays an error message if you attempt to enter a duplicate code.
Description	Enter a description of the part type.
Lookup	Use the drop-down list to indicate what you want to display when you add a provisional part for this part type. Valid options are: Manufacturer: Select this option to classify this provisional part type as a manufacturer. Vendor: Select this option to classify this provisional part type as a vendor. This value allows you to look up existing manufacturer or vendor part numbers when adding a provisional part.
