Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Administration

Use the Administration domain when you want to set up and maintain system-wide information, security, job management, and workflow in Costpoint.

You can establish system-wide codes and defaults in Administration as well as the overall organizational security per module along with different security groups and profiles. You can set, manage, and initiate Costpoint processes together with the routing of information through this domain.

Attention: If you use Internet Explorer and the Costpoint Help does not display correctly, you need to turn off Compatibility View for the browser. Click Tools > Compatibility View settings, and clear the Display intranet sites in Compatibility View check box. Then refresh the browser. Make sure you remove deltek.com (if listed) from the Web sites you have added to Compatibility View list.
