Purchase Orders Subtask

Use the Purchase Orders subtask to view Purchase Order (PO) lines for the selected component where an inventory abbreviation exists.

This subtask displays all inventory abbreviations across all projects. The status of the PO line must be Open or Pending to be included. The sum of all open quantities for PO lines (in inventory u/m) is also shown in the header. The displayed PO lines are listed in ascending due date order.

Use this subtask to view current PO information for the selected component, such as open quantities, received quantities, accepted quantities, PO line status, due dates, etc.

Field Description
Manufacturing Order

This column displays the manufacturing order ID of the line selected on the main screen.

MO Type

This field displays the MO type as Standard, Customer Repair, or Rework.

MO Status

This field displays the MO Status as Planned, Firm Planned, Released, In-Shop, Completed, or Closed.

Build Part

This field displays the ID of the part that is built in the MO selected on the main screen.

Rev

This field displays the revision level for the build part.

Component Part

This field displays the ID of the component part that is used in the MO selected on the main screen. A description of the part displays in the unlabeled field below.

Rev

This field displays the revision level for the component part.

Line Number

This field displays the line number of the component part in requirements for the selected MO.

Inv U/M

This field displays the inventory unit of measure.

Make/Buy

This field displays the M (Make) or B (Buy) status of the component part.

Purchase Order

This field displays the PO ID.

Release

This field displays the release number of the PO.

PO Line

This field displays the PO line number.

Status

This field displays the status of the PO line.

Order U/M

This field displays the PO unit of measure for the PO line.

Open Qty

This field displays the open PO quantity (in the PO unit of measure) that is yet to be received. The system calculates this field based using values derived from the Manage Purchase Order Receipts screen in Costpoint Receiving.

Open Qty equals Order Qty + Rejected Qty (or the quantity to be replaced) – Received Qty.

Due Date

This field displays the due date for the PO line.

Vendor

This field displays the vendor to whom the PO is issued.

Vendor Name

This field displays the name of the vendor to whom the PO is issued.

Vendor Address

This field displays the address of the vendor to whom the PO is issued.

Buyer

This field displays the buyer assigned to the PO.

Inv Abbrev

This field displays the inventory abbreviation to which the purchased part is being charged.

Inv Abbrev Name

This field displays the name of the inventory abbreviation to which the purchased part is being charged.

Inv Project

This field displays the project associated with the inventory abbreviation for the PO line.

Netting Group

This field displays the netting group associated with the inventory project for the PO line.

Order Reference

This field displays the ID of the order for which this line is being purchased.

Order Ref Type

This field displays the type of order referenced.

Order Qty

This field displays the ordered quantity (in the PO unit of measure).

Received Qty

This field displays the quantity that has been received against the PO line (in the PO unit of measure).

Accepted Qty

This field displays the quantity that has been accepted against the PO line (in the PO unit of measure).

Desired Date

This field displays the date the PO line part is desired by the requester.

Expediting Notes

This field displays the expediting notes for the PO, as entered on the Manage Purchase Order Expediting Notes screen in Costpoint Purchasing.

Orig Due Date

This field displays the date that the vendor originally promised to deliver the items on the PO line.

Planner

This field displays the ID of the planner responsible for the part on the PO line.

Change Order

This field displays the change order number for the PO.
