Requirements Subtask

Use the Requirements subtask to view component/subassembly requirements for the selected MO.

This subtask also displays details such as available quantities, requisition, purchase order, manufacturing orders, and associated text codes. All requirements for the selected MO are displayed, including those requirements that have been fully issued. Requirements are sorted by line number/find number.

Use this subtask whenever you need to view requirement and inventory details about components and subassemblies for the MO selected on the main screen.

Field	Description
Manufacturing Order	This column displays the manufacturing order ID of the line selected on the main screen.
MO Type	This field displays the MO type as Standard, Customer Repair, or Rework.
MO Status	This field displays the MO Status as Planned, Firm Planned, Released, In-Shop, Completed, or Closed.
Build Part	This field displays the ID of the part that is built in the MO selected on the main screen.
Rev	This field displays the revision level for the build part.

Field	Description
Line Number	This field displays the component line number of the material requirement.
Find Number	This field displays the component find number of the material requirement.
Component Part	This field displays the part ID of the material requirement.
Rev	This field displays the part revision of the material requirement.
Description	This field displays the description of the part ID requirement.
Component Type	This field displays the component type: B (Buy w/component), S (Standard), R (Reference), or T (Tool).
Inv Abbrev	This field displays the inventory abbreviation from which the material requirement will be pulled. This is blank for a non-inventory component line.
Quantity Type	This field displays the required quantity type of the component: A (Per Assembly), R (As Required), or O (Per Order).
Inv Reservation Quantity	This field displays the inventory reservation quantity for this component part on the MO. It is the amount of inventory that still needs to be issued to meet the MO requirements. Tooling and reference component types, non-inventory parts, and floor stock parts are not included in inventory reservation quantity. Backflush parts will be included.
Quantity To Issue	This field displays the part's quantity to issue on each pick list of the MO. Usually this amount should equal the inventory reserved quantity. However, if you split up issues to a MO to do partial builds and/or plan for scrap loss (without including anticipated scrap on pick lists), this field displays the balance to be issued. Tooling and reference component types, non-inventory parts, floor stock parts, and backflush parts will not be included.
Need Date	This field displays the date this component will need to be issued to the MO.
Inv U/M	This field displays the unit of measure of the component part.
Make/Buy	This field displays the M (Make) or B (Buy) status of the component part.
Common Stock Part	This field displays Y (Yes) or N (No) depending on whether or not this is a common stock part.
Backflush	This field displays Y (Yes) or N (No) depending on whether or not this is a backflush part.
Floor Stock	This field displays Y (Yes) or N (No) depending on whether or not this is a floor stock part.
Work Center	This field displays the work center where this part will be consumed on the MO.
Commodity	This field displays the commodity code ID assigned to this part.
Required Qty	This field displays the total required quantity for this component/subassembly part on the MO. Tooling and reference component types, non-inventory parts, floor stock parts and Backflush parts will be included in Required Qty.
Issued Qty	This field displays the current issued quantity for this component part on the MO.
Net Available Qty	This field displays the net available quantity for this part/inventory abbreviation. Net Avail Qty is equal to the sum of On Hand Qty, In Insp Qty, In Shipping Qty, On Order Qty, requisitions, owed quantities, planned owed quantities, and In MRB Qty (only if you selected the Incl MRB as Available Inventory check box on the Configure Production Control Settings screen) MINUS reserved and planned reserved quantities.
Current Available Qty	This field displays the current available quantity for this part/inventory abbreviation, and is equal to On Hand plus In Inspection minus Total Reserved quantities.
On Hand Qty	This field displays the quantities in the on hand locations for the component part/inventory abbreviation.
In Inspection Qty	This field displays the quantities in the in-inspection locations for the component part/inventory abbreviation.
In MRB Qty	This field displays the quantities in the MRB locations for the component part/inventory abbreviation.
In Shipping Qty	This field displays the quantities in the in shipping locations for the component part/inventory abbreviation.
On Order Qty	This field displays the total quantity on order for this component part/inventory abbreviation.
On Requisition Qty	This field displays the total quantity on requisition for the component part/inventory abbreviation.
Total Reserved Qty	This field displays the total quantities reserved for the component part/inventory abbreviation.
Notes	Use this field to enter notes for the requirement line.
Part Expedite Notes	This field displays the inventory expediting notes for the component part/inventory abbreviation.
Backflush Location	This field displays the backflush location from where material will be automatically issued out for a backflush component part.
Planner	This field displays the planner ID assigned to this component part/inventory abbreviation combination, based on your selection in the Planner Assignment group box on the Configure Production Control Settings screen.
