Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Serial/Lot Location Details Subtask

This subtask allows you to modify quantity information for the part/serial/lot combination.

Use it when there is a discrepancy between the regular inventory quantity and the serial/lot inventory quantity.

Field Description
Inv Abbrev

Enter, or click to select, the abbreviation of the inventory into which the serial/lot is placed.

Project

This field displays the project ID that defaults after Inv Abbrev is entered.

Warehouse

This field displays the warehouse where the serial/lot is placed into inventory. The global default warehouse displays.

Location

This field displays the location where the serial/lot is placed into inventory.

Location Type

This field displays the type of inventory location, and defaults when you enter a Location.

Quantity

This field displays the quantity of the lot to be placed into inventory. The default is 1 if there is a serial number.

Quantity to Assign

This field displays the inventory quantity available for the Part/Warehouse/Location/Inv Abbrev.

Part/Project Serial Reqd

This field displays Y (Yes) if the part/project is serial tracked, or N (No) if it is not.

Part/Project Lot Reqd

This field displays Y (Yes) if the part/project is lot tracked, or N (No) if it is not.
