Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Substiture Parts Subtask

Use this subtask to view the substitute parts information for the selected component part in the View Where-Used Bills of Material screen.

You can assign substitute part information to the component part in the Manage Parts screen in Costpoint Product Definition.

Field Description
Item No

This field displays the item number for the component part.

AC 1

This field displays the AC 1 information for the component part.

Desc

This field displays the component part description.

Table Window

This table window lists all substitute parts for the component part.

Field Description
Sequence

This field displays the sequence in the order of preference.

Substitute Part

This field displays the identification code of the substitute part that can be exchanged for this component part.

Rev

This field displays the substitute part revision.

Description

This field displays the substitute part description.

Interchangeable

This field displays Y (Yes) if the substitute part is completely interchangeable with the component part. Otherwise, this field displays N (No).
