Components Subtask
Use this subtask to view components for each sales order line on the Components subtask on the Manage Sales Orders screen. You can access this subtask if the Process Components column on the Manage Sales Orders screen displays Y.

These fields display from the Components subtask of the Manage Sales Order screen.

Line |
This column displays the system identifier of a line on the sales order component. It is a sequential number assigned by Costpoint to track the component line items of the sales order. Costpoint supports an unlimited number of lines for a component. |
Component Item |
This column displays the component item for this line. |
Rev |
This field displays the latest revision when a valid item has been entered or selected. |
Description |
This field displays the description of the item entered. The item description is provided from either the Manage Item Billings screen or the Manage CLIN Information screen depending on the option chosen on the Manage Sales Order Project Defaults and the Manage Sales Order Catalog Defaults screens. |
Part Security |
This field is visible only if the Use Part Data Security Controls check box is selected on the Configure Product Definition Settings screen, which indicates that the item is subject to data security restrictions, as defined in the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). If enabled, this field displays one of the following values to indicate whether the item you are accessing is subject to part data security restrictions and whether you have the necessary authorization to access information for that item:
If you are unauthorized to access parts or revisions that are subject to data security restrictions, then you will not be able to create or edit SO lines for that restricted part/revision. In addition, you will not be able to view Line Documents, Substitute Parts, and Manufacturer/Vendor part information for those restricted items. Note: The features in this release relating to Part Data Security are intended to assist your company in achieving ITAR compliance. However, it is each company’s responsibility to confirm that it is meeting its obligations with respect to ITAR or other applicable requirements. Deltek does not warrant that use of this functionality will result in compliance.

This column displays the unit of measure for the component. |
Product Option |
This field displays the product option that can be used in place of a given component. |
Line Type |
This field displays the line type for the component line. |
Order Quantity |
This field displays the order quantity for the component line. |
Incremental Unit Price |
This field displays the incremental unit price for the component line. If you use Multicurrency, this column header contains the prefix "Trans Currency". Each line item amount display in that transaction currency. |
Price Type |
This field displays the price type for the component line. |
Incremental Extended Price Amount |
This field displays the incremental extended price amount of the selected component/line item. If you use Multicurrency, this column header contains the prefix "Trans Currency". Each line item amount display in that transaction currency. |
Need Date |
This field displays the need date for the component line. |
Inventory Abbrev |
This field displays the inventory abbreviation for the component line. This field displays only if you select Y (Yes) in the Issue Components field on Manage Sales Orders screen. |
Planner |
This field displays the planner for the component line. |
BOM Configuration |
This field displays the bill of material configuration for the component line. |
Effectivity Date |
This field displays the effective date for the component line. |
Issue Quantity |
This field displays the issue quantity for the component line. |
Net Available Quantity |
This field displays the net available quantity for the component line. |
On Hand Quantity |
This field displays the quantity on hand for the component line. |
