Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Notification Override Subtask

Use the Notification Override subtask to assign default notification methods by area.

The changes you make on this subtask will override the Preferred Notification Method field setting that applies to all types of notifications.

The types of notifications to which you can assign a specific notification method include:

  • Administrative Messages (for Administrative Messages application (SYMMESS) updates)
  • Approval Workflow (for Workflow module (old and new) updates)
  • Job Server Notifications (for background job execution statuses in Job Management module)
  • Single User Interactive Processes
  • T&E Employee Notifications (for missing and approved timesheets and more in Time and Expense)
  • T&E Other Notifications (for manager-level approval actions in Time and Expense)
Field Description
Notification Type This field displays the type of notification that you can receive.
Notification Method Assign a delivery method for the notification type. The options available are based on the notification delivery methods configured for your company.
