Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

UI Profiles Subtask

Use this subtask to view a list of user interface (UI) profiles.

A UI profile is a collection of screen and functional logic customizations that can be assigned to users or user groups to provide custom user capabilities. These UI profiles allow you to easily switch between customized Lookup tables, My Menu, and extensibility units that are specific to certain jobs, processes, or functions.

You can add, edit, or delete UI profiles using the Manage User Interface Profiles screen.

Field Description
UI Profile

Enter, or click to select, the identification code for this UI profile.

Name

Enter, or click to select, the descriptive name for this UI Profile ID.

Priority

This field displays the UI profile sequence number, which determines which UI profile takes precedence.

Company

Enter, or click to select, the company to assign the UI profile to or enter ALLto assign to all companies.
