  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Vend Hrs Ceil Subtask

Use this subtask of the Manage Alternate Project Revenue Profiles screen to override production values of the vendor hours ceilings for this project and to specify to which the vendor hours ceiling override should apply.

You can also mark existing records for deletion and add new vendor hours ceiling records to this project.

Override values will be used only in the alternate database and will not replace the values in the production database. Removal and addition of records will also occur only in the alternate database.

You cannot edit the Production Value fields on this subtask. You can only modify the Alternate Profile Override fields, but these are not required. You should enter values in the Alternate Profile Override fields only when they are different from the production values and for new records.

Field Description
Delete this Vendor Hours ceiling at this Project level for Alternate Revenue Profile

Select this check box to delete this vendor hours ceiling record at this project level in the alternate revenue profile.

Record Status

This field displays the status of this vendor hours ceiling record. For records that have not yet been modified, this field is blank. For new records or those that have already been updated, this field displays one the following statuses:

  • Override: This indicates that this record contains override values.
  • Delete: This indicates that this record has been marked for deletion.
  • New: This indicates that this is a new record.

Vendor

Production Value

This field displays the production value of the vendor to whom the hours ceiling applies.

Alternate Profile Override

For new records, enter, or click , to select the alternate profile vendor to whom the hours ceiling will apply. This field is enabled only for new records.

Vendor Name

Field Description
Production Value

This field displays the production value of the vendor name.

Alternate Profile Override

For new records, this field displays the name of the vendor you entered in the Alternate Profile Vendor Override field.

Labor Category

Production Value

This field displays the production value of the project labor category to which the hours ceiling is applied.

Alternate Profile Override

For new records, enter, or click , to select the alternate profile project labor category to which the direct hours ceiling will apply. This field is enabled only for new records.

Hours Ceiling

Field Description
Production Value

This field displays the production value of the hours ceiling for the vendor/labor category combination.

Alternate Profile Override

Enter the alternate profile hours ceiling override for the vendor/labor category combination.
