Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

User-Defined Info Subtask

Use this subtask to list all the labels that were set up for ECNs on the Configure Engineering Changes User-Defined Labels screen.

You can also enter new values in accordance with the previously set user-defined labels.

Table Window

Field Description
Data Type

This field displays the type of data users can enter for this label.

Labels

This field identifies the user-defined label.

Text Value

Enter, or click to select, the text value of this label. This field is active if the Data Type field value is Text.

Numeric Value

Enter the numeric value of this label. This field is active if the Data Type field value is Numeric.

Date Value

Enter, or click to select, the date value of this label. This field is active if the Data Type field value is Numeric.

Costpoint Validation Field

This field displays the Costpoint Validation field that was defined on the Configure Engineering Changes User-Defined Labels screen. These fields are defined on the Manage Workflow Case Labels screen in Costpoint Workflow.

Validated Text

This field displays Y (Yes) or N (No) to indicate whether or not this user-defined label has been validated against pre-defined values.

Required

This field displays Y (Yes) or N (No) to indicate whether or not the user-defined label is a required field.
