Contents of the Manage Product Classifications Screen

Use the fields and options to configure the Manage Product Classifications screen.

Field	Description
Classification Code	Enter a product classification code. On the Manage Parts screen, you can associate the code with an item. This field is required
Description	Enter a product classification code description. This field is required.
Product Type	Enter, or click to select, the product type that is to be associated with this product classification. The product type must already have been established on the Manage Product Types screen.
Product Type Description	This field displays the product type description.
