How to Maintain Generic Staff Table

Use this procedure to maintain the generic staff table.

To maintain the Generic Staff Table:

  1. In Planning > Organization Budgeting > Controls and Utilities, select Maintain Generic Staff (MAM2,BOM2,BPM5).
  2. Enter the job and rate information for the generic staff in the following fields:
    • Job Code
    • Job Description
    • Hourly Average
    • Accrual Rate
  3. Select the Active checkbox to set the status to active.  
  4. Select the Shared checkbox to add the generic staff to budget tool Lookups where appropriate.
  5. In Default PLC, enter the PLC if desired.
  6. In Default Account ID, click to select the default account ID.
  7. In Home Organization ID, click to select the Home Organization ID.
  8. In Security Organization ID, click to select the Security Organization ID.
    • If you have designated that this generic staff be shared, the system allows it to be shared according to the security level you designate.
    • Any user who has access to the security level you choose for the generic staff can use that generic staff in their budget.
  9. Click to save your changes.
