Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Requirements Subtask

Use the Requirements subtask to view all gross requirement rows for the selected message line's part, inventory abbreviation code, and warehouse ID.

If a warehouse ID exists, the requirements display by Need Date order.

Field Description
Part

This field displays the part ID shown in the main screen.

Rev

This field displays the revision of this part.

Description

This field displays the description for this part.

U/M

The unit of measure assigned to this part.

Inv Abbrev

This field displays the inventory abbreviation associated with the action message. The inventory abbreviation name displays in the field to the right.

Part Make/Buy

This field displays M (Make) if this part is manufactured or B (Buy) if this part is purchased.

Warehouse

This field displays the warehouse ID for the action message.

Project

This field displays the project ID for the action message. The project name displays in the adjacent unlabeled field.

Prj Abbrev

This field displays the abbreviation of the project ID.

Requirement Details

This field displays requirement information for the action message.

Field Description
Need Date

This field displays the date on which this part must be issued to the MO. This date cannot be earlier than the overall MO planned release date, which is also the default for this field.

Requirement Type

This field displays the type of order requirement for the part.

Order/Reservation

This field displays the order or requisition number referenced for the row. This field can be updated in the main screen only for supply planned orders, in which case this field may display the order or requisition ID to be used when it is firmed.

Line

This field displays the line in which the part/revision exists for the selected Order/Reservation.

Required Quantity

This field displays the part/revision's required quantity for the selected Order/Reservation.

Assembly Part

This field displays the assembly to which the part/revision belongs if the Order/Reservation is a manufacturing order.

Assembly Rev

This field displays the assembly part's revision, if applicable.

Assembly Part Description

This field displays the assembly part's description, if applicable.

Planner

This field displays the planner ID for the part associated with the action message for the row.
