Reservation Subtask

Use the Reservation subtask to view details of the supply reservation made for the part in the selected row of the main screen.

Such supplies are based on transfer reservations and transfer requests. Quantities are in inventory units of measure.

Use this subtask whenever you need to view details about the reservation supply selected on the main screen.

Field	Description
Part	This field displays the part ID shown in the main screen.
Rev	This field displays the revision of this part.
Description	This field displays the description for this part.
U/M	The unit of measure assigned to this part.
Message	This field displays the action message suggested for the requisition. The action messages are: Cancel Order Reschedule Order Decrease Qty
Reservation	This field displays the reservation ID associated with this action message.
Line	This field displays the reservation line associated with this action message.
Requestor	This field displays the user ID of the individual who made the reservation.
Status	This field displays the status of the reservation, Approved or Pending.
Planner	This field displays the identification code of the planner responsible for this reservation.
Warehouse	This field displays the warehouse ID where the reservation is made.
From Inv Abbrev	This field displays the inventory abbreviation for the location from which the reservation will be issued. The inventory abbreviation name displays in the adjacent unlabeled field.
From Project	This field displays the project ID associated with the From Inv Abbrev code.
To Inv Abbrev	This field displays the inventory abbreviation to which the reservation will be charged. The inventory abbreviation name displays in the adjacent unlabeled field.
To Project	This field displays the project ID associated with the To Inv Abbrev field.
Due	Use this field to enter, or use to select, the revised due date for this reservation. This date represents the date when the MO or PO must be received from the shop or vendor in order to meet the need date of the corresponding demand, including MO lead times for stocking or PO lead times for receiving and inspection.
Suggested Due	This field displays the due date suggested by the MRP system. For a purchased part, the system calculates this field by subtracting the purchasing inspection and purchasing receiving lead times from the need date. For a manufactured part, Costpoint subtracts the manufacturing - stocking lead time from the need date.
Reserved Quantity	Use this field to enter the quantity reserved against the part/inventory abbreviation combination via reservations.
Suggested Quantity	This field displays the reserved quantity as recommended by Costpoint.
