Warehouse Inventory Subtask

Use the Warehouse Inventory subtask to view current inventory information by warehouse for the selected part.

If you enter a warehouse ID on the main screen, the inventory information displays for the particular warehouse; otherwise, the information is for all warehouses. The display includes only the selected projects, unless you select the View All Inventory option.

Use this subtask whenever current inventory information by warehouse is required.

Field Description
Part

This field displays the part ID shown in the main screen.

Rev

This field displays the revision of this part.

Description

This field displays the description for this part.

U/M

The unit of measure assigned to this part.

Selection Criteria

This group box displays the information on the project criteria as specified on the main screen.

Field Description
Option

This field displays the Project Option from the main screen.

Project

This field displays the ID of the selected project from the main screen. The project name is displayed in the adjacent unlabeled field.

Prj Abbrev

This field displays the abbreviation for the project ID.

Netting Group

This field displays the ID of the netting group from the main screen. The name of the netting group is displayed in the adjacent unlabeled field.

Warehouse

This field displays the ID of the warehouse for the inventory as shown in the main screen.

View All Warehouses

Select this check box to view the part's inventory across all warehouses. This defaults to checked and is disabled if the Warehouse field in the main screen is blank.

View All Projects

Select this check box to view the part's inventory across all projects.

Requery Inventory

Click this button to load the current inventory information by warehouse for the selected part.

Quantity

This group box displays quantity information about the part.

Field Description
On Hand

This field displays the sum of all on-hand quantities in the table window.

In Inspection

This field displays the sum of all in-inspection and reinspection quantities in the table window.

In Shipping

This field displays the sum of all in-shipping quantities in the table window.

Warehouse Inventory Detail

This table window displays the details of the inventory for the part according to the viewing criteria selected. Sorting is by project ID, inventory abbreviation code, and warehouse.

Field Description
Warehouse

This field displays the ID of the warehouse where the inventory is kept.

Inv Abbrev

This field displays the inventory abbreviation code.

Inventory Abbreviation Name

This field displays the name of the inventory abbreviation.

Account Type

This field displays the type of account, either E (Expense), A (Asset), or G (Government Furnished) as set up in the Inventory Abbreviations subtask of the Manage Inventory Projects screen in Costpoint Inventory.

On Hand Quantity

This field displays the sum of all quantities of the part/warehouse/inventory abbreviation combination that are in on-hand locations.

In Inspection Quantity

This field displays the sum of all quantities of the part/warehouse/inventory abbreviation combination that are in inspection and reinspection locations.

In Shipping Quantity

This field displays the sum of all quantities of the part/warehouse/inventory abbreviation combination that are in shipping locations.

In MRB Quantity

This field displays the sum of all quantities of the part/warehouse/inventory abbreviation combination that are in MRB locations.

On Hold Quantity

This field displays the sum of all the quantities of the part/warehouse/inventory abbreviation combination that are in hold locations.

Project

This field displays the ID of the project associated with the inventory abbreviation.

Project Name

This field displays the name of the project associated with the inventory abbreviation.

Proj Abbrev

This field displays the abbreviation of the project associated with the inventory abbreviation.

Inv Abbrev Active

This field displays Y (Yes) if the Inv Abbrev code is active. Otherwise, this field displays N (No).
