Move Subtask

Use this subtask to move a specified budgeted value from a range of periods to another range of periods.

The program deletes rows from the Project Direct Budget table for the original or From period range, and insert rows into the To period range. Please note that the program cannot cross fiscal years.

You can enter budgets any time after setting up projects and budget revisions. This utility moves data stored in the Project Budget Direct table.

Select Accounts

Field	Description
Range Option	Enter, or use the drop-down list to select, the range of accounts to update. Valid options are: All One Range From Beginning To End The default for this field is All.
From	Enter, or click to select, the starting value for the range you want to include. If you select All or From Beginning in the Range Option field, this field is inactive.
To	Enter, or click to select, the ending value for the range you want to include. If you select All, One, or To End in the Range Option field, this field is inactive.

Select Source Subperiods

Field	Description
Range Option	Enter, or use the drop-down list to select, the range of periods and subperiods to update. Valid options are: All One Range From Beginning To End The default for this field is All.
From	Enter, or click to select, the starting value for the range you want to include. If you select All or From Beginning in the Range Option field, this field is inactive.

Number of Subperiods	This field displays the total number of source subperiods selected. Note that the number of source subperiods must equal the number of destination subperiods.

Select Destination Subperiods

Field	Description

From	Enter, or click to select, the starting value for the range you want to include. If you select All or From Beginning in the Range Option field, this field is inactive.
To	Enter, or click to select, the ending value for the range you want to include. If you select All, One, or To End in the Range Option field, this field is inactive.
Number of Subperiods	This field displays the total number of destination subperiods updated. Note that the number of source subperiods must equal the number of destination subperiods.
Apply	Click this button to perform the move.
