Link Talent Management User IDs to Existing Employees

When you run this toolkit, it will populate the Costpoint Employee (EMPL) table with the Deltek Talent Management user ID (HUA ID) of each applicable employee.

The application also updates the Active HUA ID Mapping flag (HUA_ACTV_MAP_FL) on the employee's record. This flag indicates whether the Costpoint employee has an active or inactive mapping to the HUA ID.

Warning:

This mapping must be in place before importing or exporting employee data between Deltek Talent Management and Costpoint.

The timing of this toolkit depends on whether you are one of the following:

• An existing Costpoint 7.1.1 user
• An existing Deltek Talent Management user
• An existing user of both Costpoint 7.1.1 and Deltek Talent Management
• A new user of both products

  You must run this toolkit after installing/enabling the Auto-Assign Employee IDs feature and before importing or exporting employees on the Transfer Talent Management Data screen.
