Component Alternate Parts Subtask

Use this subtask to view the list of alternate parts for the selected component.

You can assign alternate part information to the component part in the Manage Parts, Manage Alternate Parts screen (for standard parts), or the Manage Provisional Parts (for provisional parts) screen in Costpoint Product Definition.

Field	Description
Line No	This field displays the BOM line number of the selected component line.
Component Part	This field displays the component part for the selected component line.
Comp Rev	This field displays the component part revision.
Component Description	This field displays the component part description.

Table Window

This table window lists all alternate parts for the component part.

Field	Description
Seq	This field displays the sequence order of an alternate part for the component.
Manufacturer	This field displays the manufacturer ID of an alternate part for the component.
CAGE	This field displays the Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code for the alternate part.
Manufacturer Name	This field displays the name of the manufacturer of the alternate part.
Manufacturer Part	This field displays the manufacturer part ID of the alternate part.
Mfg Rev	This field displays the manufacturer part revision.
Preference Type	This field displays the part preference type for this alternate part from the Part Preference Types screen in Costpoint Product Definition.
Preferred	This field displays Y (Yes) if the alternate part is preferred. Otherwise, this field displays N (No). Only one alternate part can set as preferred.
Vendor	This field displays the vendor ID assigned to the alternate part.
Vendor Name	This field displays the vendor name.
Vendor Part	This field displays the part ID of the vendor part.
Vend Rev	This field displays the vendor part revision.
Company	This field displays the company ID, to which the vendor is associated.
