Manage Employee ID Formats
Use this screen to specify the format of employee IDs that are auto-generated when importing employee records from Deltek Talent Management.
This screen is only accessible if the either of the following check boxes on the Configure Labor Settings screen are selected:
- Auto-Generate Employee IDs check box is selected for the login company
- Auto-Generate Employee ID for All Companies check box in the Corporate Labor Settings subtask
Warning:
All employee ID formats must include a number to prevent issues with duplication of employee IDs.
The settings on this screen are used for the following for each Company in the database:
- Specify how to build the employee ID
- Specify the rules for implementing the employee ID format

In order you use Costpoint's ability to auto-generate employee IDs when importing employee records from Deltek Talent Management, you must set up the employee ID format and corresponding rules for defaulting.
