Assigned Standard Text Subtask

Use this subtask to assign established standard text to the provisional part.

Standard text, when associated with an item, automatically prints on any of the documents selected in the corresponding Where-Used subtask. An example of standard text assigned to an item would be additional quality requirements, specific packaging requirements, or other information. Establish standard text and codes on the Manage Standard Text screen.

You can assign or modify standard text selections at any time.

Standard Text

Field	Description
Code	This field displays unselected text codes.
Rev	This field displays the revision of the standard text code.
Description	This field displays the description after you select the Text Code.

Assigned Standard Text

Field	Description
Code	Enter, or click to select, the standard text code approved for this part.
Rev	Enter, or click to select, the revision of the standard text code approved for this part.
Description	Enter, or click to select, the description of the standard text code approved for this part. This field displays the description after you select the Text Code.
Text Active	If selected, this check box indicates that the standard text code/revision combination is currently active.
