Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Contents of the Manage Serial/Lot User-Defined Labels Screen

Use the fields and options to configure the Manage Serial/Lot User-Defined Labels screen.

User-Defined Field Labels

Use the fields in this block to define up to fifteen field labels. If you do not define a label, the corresponding field does not display on serial/lot screens.

To define date fields, select the Date Field check box next to the corresponding field label. After the initial setup, you may receive an error message if you change a text field into a date field. You may also receive a warning message indicating that the system will convert all date values to text if you change an existing date field into a text field.

Field Description
Label 1

Enter a label for the first serial/lot user-defined field.

Label 2

Enter a label for the second serial/lot user-defined field.

Label 3

Enter a label for the third serial/lot user-defined field.

Label 4

Enter a label for the fourth serial/lot user-defined field.

Label 5

Enter a label for the fifth serial/lot user-defined field.

Label 6

Enter a label for the sixth serial/lot user-defined field.

Label 7

Enter a label for the seventh serial/lot user-defined field.

Label 8

Enter a label for the eighth serial/lot user-defined field.

Label 9

Enter a label for the ninth serial/lot user-defined field.
