Put Amounts and/or Hours on Hold

You can use the Adjust Open Billing Detail Records screen to put amounts and/or hours on hold.

To put a line on hold:

  1. Highlight a row that you want to put on hold.
  2. Right-click the row and select the Hold function.

    When a line is selected for holding, an H appears in the Action column.

    When you put a row on hold, the Transaction Amount column populates the On Hold Amount column, and the Transaction Hours column populates the On Hold Hours column. You can edit these columns to allow for partial holds.

  3. Enter on-hold details in the Reason column.
  4. After printing the proposed hold adjustment, click to put selected items on hold.

This process inserts the Hold Amount and Hold Hours in the Open Billing Detail table.
