Inventory Details Subtask

Use this subtask to view inventory information for the part on the line selected in the main screen.

Inventory information, including on-order non-req, owed and reserved quantities, displays by inventory abbreviation. This screen displays inventory abbreviations linked to the projects selected on the main screen, or all projects, depending on the Display Option selected.

Field	Description
Part	This field displays the ID for the part on the selected action message on the main screen.
Rev	This field displays the part revision number.
Description	This field displays the part description.
U/M	This field displays the part's default or inventory unit of measure.

Selection Criteria

Field	Description
Option	This field displays the value specified for the Project Option on the main screen and may determine the rows that display in the table window below.
Project	This field displays the ID of the selected project from the main screen header and may determine the rows that are shown in the table window. The project name displays in the adjacent unlabeled field.
Proj Abbrev	This field displays the project abbreviation.
Netting Group	This field displays the netting group selected on the main screen.
View All Projects	Select this option to view the part's inventory across all inventory projects.
Requery Inventory	If you change the value of the View All Projects check box, click this button to reload the table window.

Quantity

Field	Description
Net Available	This field displays the net available quantity for the header part and all selected inventory abbreviations. It is the sum of all the on hand, in inspection, in shipping, on order, on req, owed, and planned owed quantities minus the sum of reserved and planned reserved quantities. In Materials Review Board (MRB), inventory is also added if you selected the Incl MRB as Available Inventory check box on the Configure Production Control Settings screen.
Current Available	This field displays the current available quantity for the header part and all selected inventory abbreviations. It is the sum of On Hand and In Inspection quantities minus the Reserved quantity, for the part/inventory abbreviation combination.
On Hand	This field displays the sum of all on-hand quantities for the header part and all selected inventory abbreviations

Inventory Quantities

Field	Description
Inv Abbrev	This field displays the inventory abbreviation code that owns the inventory.
Inventory Abbreviation Name	This field displays the name of the row's inventory abbreviation.
Account Type	This field displays the account type of the owning inventory abbreviation as set up on the Inventory Abbreviations subtask of the Manage Inventory Projects screen in Costpoint Inventory. Expensed Asset Government Furnished
Project	This field displays the ID of the inventory project linked to the inventory abbreviation.
Project Name	This field displays the name of the inventory project linked to the inventory abbreviation.
Project Abbrev	This field displays the abbreviation of the inventory project linked to the inventory abbreviation.
Net Available Quantity	This field displays the net available quantity for the part/inventory abbreviation combination. It is the sum of all the on hand, in inspection, in shipping, in MRB, on order, on requisition, owed, and planned owed quantities minus the sum of reserved and planned reserved quantities, for the part/inventory abbreviation combination. (In MRB is included only if you selected the Incl MRB as Available Inventory check box on the Configure Production Control Settings screen.)
Current Available Quantity	This field displays the current available quantity for the part/inventory abbreviation combination. It is the sum of on hand and in-inspection quantities minus the reserved quantity, for the part/inventory abbreviation combination.
On Hand Quantity	This field displays the sum of all quantities of the part/inventory abbreviation combination in on hand locations.
In Inspection Quantity	This field displays the sum of all quantities of the part/inventory abbreviation combination in inspection and reinspection locations.
In Shipping Quantity	This field displays the sum of all quantities of the part/inventory abbreviation combination in shipping locations.
In MRB Quantity	This field displays the sum of all quantities of the part/inventory abbreviation combination in Materials Review Board locations. These quantities are considered available for MRP/MPS planning if the Incl MRB as Available Inventory check box is selected on the Configure Production Control Settings screen.
On Hold Quantity	This field displays the sum of all quantities of the part/inventory abbreviation combination in on hold locations.
On Order Quantity	This field displays the sum of all quantities that have been ordered (on open purchase orders or manufacturing orders) for the part/inventory abbreviation combination.
On Requisition Quantity	This field displays the sum of all the quantities that have been requisitioned on an open purchase requisition for the part/inventory abbreviation combination.
Reserved Quantity	This field displays the sum of all the open quantities reserved against the part/inventory abbreviation combination via reservations (that is, approved transfer and issue reservations, MO requirements, inventory SO lines and PO/Req reservations).
Planned Reserved Quantity	This field displays the sum of all open quantities reserved against the substitute part/inventory abbreviation combination via unapproved inventory requests.
Owed Quantity	This field displays the sum of all quantities owed to the part/inventory abbreviation combination via transfer reservations.
Planned Owed Quantity	This field displays the sum of all quantities owed to the part/inventory abbreviation combination via unapproved transfer requests.
Expedite Notes	This field displays free-form notes about the part/inventory abbreviation combination.
