  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.

Line 13 Costs Tab

Use this tab to review the details for the computation of the value on Line 13 of the government Form 1443.

All the fields in this tab are non-editable. Review the details for Line 13 of the 1443 after you have computed the bill and before you have printed or posted it.

Field Description
Estimated Total Costs (Line 12a plus 12b)

This field displays the result of adding line 12a and line 12b.

Line 5 Contract Price

This field displays line 5, Contract Price, from the Section 1; Box 3-8 tab.

Loss Ratio Percentage (Line 5 Contract Price divided by EAC)

This field displays the result of dividing the Contract Price by the Estimated Total Costs.

Line 11 Costs Multiplied by Loss Ratio

This field displays the result of multiplying line 11 by the loss ratio percentage.

Progress Payment Percentage

This field displays line 6a, Progress Payment percentage, from the Section 1; Box 3-8 tab.

Total Line 13 Costs

This field is determined by the amount of estimated costs and whether they have exceeded the contract price. If the Estimated Total Costs (Line 12a plus 12b) do not exceed the Line 5 Contract Price, Costpoint multiples the Total Eligible Costs (line 11) by the Progress Payment rate (line 6a) to arrive at the line 13 costs. If the estimated costs exceed the Line 5 Contract Price, Costpoint must obtain a loss ratio percentage by dividing the contract price by the estimated costs. This percentage is multiplied by the Total Eligible Costs (line 11) to reduce the total costs eligible for progress payment. Costpoint then multiplies the resulting amount by the progress payment rate to arrive at the line 13 costs.
