Contents of the Manage Product Options Screen

Use the fields and options to configure the Manage Product Options screen.

Identification

Field	Description
Product Option ID	Enter a product option ID.
Description	Enter a description of the product option.

Field	Description
Item	Enter, or click to select, the items that can be used as an optional product, item, or part. When you enter the item on a BOM line, the product option IDs to which it is assigned are available for in the Product Option field for that particular BOM record.
Rev	Enter, or click to select, the revision number for the selected item.
Description	This field displays the item description and defaults from the Item field.
Part Security	This field is visible only if the Use Part Data Security Controls check box is selected on the Configure Product Definition Settings screen, which indicates that the part is subject to data security restrictions, as defined in the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). If enabled, this field displays one of the following values to indicate whether the part you are accessing is subject to part data security restrictions and whether you have the necessary authorization to access information for that part: Unrestricted: The item is not subject to data security restrictions. Restricted: The item is subject to data security restrictions and that you are authorized to access detailed part information. ***UNAUTHORIZED***: The item is subject to data security restrictions and you are not authorized to access or view part information. This value is displayed in red background color. Note: The features in this release relating to Part Data Security are intended to assist your company in achieving ITAR compliance. However, it is each company’s responsibility to confirm that it is meeting its obligations with respect to ITAR or other applicable requirements. Deltek does not warrant that use of this functionality will result in compliance.
Sales U/M	This field displays the unit of measure in which the item is sold.
Country	This field displays the country code for the product option.
Upgrade Price Amt	Enter the upgrade price amount by which the sales order line price increases or decreases if you select this item to replace another item for this option.
Add-On Price Amt	Enter the add-on price amount that is added to the sales order line if you add this item as a new line on the Components subtask of the Manage Sales Orders screen in Costpoint Sales Order Entry.
