Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Planning Subtask

Use the Planning subtask to view planning information for the part on the selected inventory record.

Field Description
Part

This field displays the ID of the part in the selected inventory record.

Rev

This field displays the part revision number of the selected inventory record.

U/M

This field displays the default or inventory unit of measure for the selected part.

Description

This field displays the part description.

Project

This field displays the project ID associated with the inventory record.

Project Name

This field displays the name of the project.

This field displays the ID of the project linked to the part

Project Name

This field displays the project's name.

Safety Stock

This field displays the safety stock quantity requirement assigned to the part for the project. It will be treated as an independent demand by MRP/MPS if you select the Safety Stock check box in the Include as Demand group box on the Configure Materials Requirements Planning Settings screen.

Reorder Point

This field displays the reorder point quantity level of inventory (in the inventory unit of measure) that will be used to determine when to create requisitions when the part planning type is Reorder. The Inventory Reorder Report will be used to generate requisitions for these parts.

Order To Quantity

This field displays the quantity to which the inventory will be raised to (in the inventory unit of measure) when the part is reordered when the part's Order Policy is Order To Point.

Preferred Warehouse

This field displays the preferred warehouse for the part/project.

Preferred Location

This field displays the preferred warehouse location for the part/project.

Netting Group

This field displays the netting group associated with the project.
