Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Standard Text Subtask

Use the Standard Text subtask to view text attached to the selected operation.

Depending upon whether the selected operation is labor or subcontractor, you can assign standard text in either the Maintain Labor Operations screen or the Maintain Subcontractor Operations screen, respectively. You can maintain standard text for the part in the Parts User Flow screen in Costpoint Product Definition.

Field Description
Part

This field displays the part ID used by this operation.

Rev

This field displays the revision of the part.

Routing Number

This field displays the routing number for the selected operation.

Operation Sequence

This field displays the number of the operation sequence line being viewed.

Step

This field displays the step number of the operation sequence line being viewed.

Alternate Operation

This field displays the alternate number of the operation sequence line being viewed.

Operation

This field displays the operation code of the operation sequence line being viewed.

Work Center

This field displays the work center ID of the operation sequence line being viewed.

Field Description
Sequence

This field displays the sequence number for the selected text.

Text Source

This field is used for Lookup only during initial entry of text.

Text Code

This field displays the text code for the selected text. The description displays on the adjacent field.

Rev

This field displays the text code revision.

Doc Print Option

This field displays the document print option assigned to the selected text code. The options are:

  • Both: The text will print on both internal reports and Purchase Orders.
  • Internal: The text will print on internal reports only.
  • External: The text will print on Purchase Orders only.
PO Text

If selected, this check box indicates that this text is also used for purchase orders.

MO Traveler Text

If selected, this check box indicates that this text is also used for manufacturing order routing traveler.

Text Active

If selected, this check box indicates that the standard text code/revision combination is currently active.

Text

This field displays the text that is assigned to this text code.
