  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Contents of the Print Physical Count Sheets Screen

Use the fields and options to configure the Print Physical Count Sheets screen.

Identification

Use the fields in this block to create a new parameter ID or to retrieve a previously saved parameter ID. A parameter ID represents a set of screen selection parameters. After you have saved a parameter ID and its related parameters, you can retrieve them using Query.

You can use the retrieved parameters to produce reports and run processes more efficiently and with greater consistency. The saved parameters are also useful and necessary when you want to run the process as part of a batch job. Many users save a unique set of parameters for each different way they run a report or process. When you select a previously saved parameter ID or parameter description, the associated saved screen selection parameters automatically display as selection defaults. The page setup and print options, if there are any, are also included in the saved parameter ID. You can change any of the associated selection defaults as necessary.

Field Description
Parameter ID

Enter, or click to select, a parameter ID of up to 15 alphanumeric characters. Choose characters for your parameter ID that help identify the type of selections you made on the screen, such as PERIOD or QUARTERLY.

When you save your record, all the selections made on the screen are stored with the parameter ID. Later, you can retrieve the parameter using Query.

You can use the parameter to run the process more efficiently because you can select the parameter ID with its previously defined screen selections. After the default selections display on the screen, you can override the defaults.

If Cycle Count Schedule is populated, all print options, except for Print Pre-Count Quantities and Print Serial Lot Numbers, are disabled.

Count

This field always displays One.

Enter, or click to select, the count ID that the Print Physical Count Sheet process will use.

Date

This field will display the date on which the physical count took place.

Count Sheet Printed

This field displays either Y (yes) or N (no) to indicate whether the count sheet has been printed.

Control Number

Select the range option for the control numbers to be printed from the drop-down list. The available options are:

  • All
  • One
  • Range
  • From Beginning
  • To End
Start

Enter, or click to select, the control number that will be the starting point to be printed for this physical count sheet.

End

Enter, or click to select, the control number that will be the ending point to be printed for this physical count sheet.

Location

Start

Enter, or click to select, the location that will be starting point to be printed on the physical count sheet.

End

Enter, or click to select, the location that will be ending point to be printed on the physical count sheet.

Sort By

1st Sort

Select the first sort option from the drop-down list. The available options are:

  • Location
  • Part
  • Control Number
2nd Sort

Select a secondary sort for the generated report, when primary sort is Location or Part. When primary sort is Control Number, this drop-down list is disabled.

Print Options

Field Description
Print Pre-Count Quantities

Select this check box to print pre-count quantities on the count sheets/tags. If you clear this check box, pre-count quantities will not print on the count sheets/tags.

Print Only Unreconciled Lines

Select this check box to print only the count lines that have not been reconciled.

Print Lines That Have Been Counted

Select this check box to print part/location combinations that have already been counted.

Print Serial Lot Numbers

Select this check box to print serial/lot information on count sheet tags.

Print Actual Count Quantities

Select this check box to print actual count quantities.
