Tasks

Use Tasks under Jobs to create and manage schedules within jobs, phases within schedules, tasks within phases, and resource bookings on tasks.

To use the Tasks submodule, you must have access to Jobs as defined in the User Access Rights submodule under Settings.

Hierarchy of Elements

WorkBook is divided into six groups that follow a hierarchy:

  • A client can be associated with one or more projects.
  • A project is an element within which jobs are grouped and organized.
  • A job is an element within which schedules are grouped and organized.
  • A schedule is an element within which one or more phases are grouped and organized.
  • A phase is an element within which tasks are grouped and organized.
  • A task is an element to which you can book resources.
